We catalyze emerging cross-regional, multidisciplinary, and inclusive collaborations between political scientists in the United States and social scientists, policymakers, municipal officials, and activists from the Global South. Our goal is to synthesize cutting-edge multi-disciplinary research for the development of pedagogical resources and to co-produce a handbook of successful cases of climate justice in large metropolitan areas. Climate justice means avoiding disproportionate impacts and providing equitable representation in policies and institutions.
